Skoda is ready to begin a strong offensive in Europe and China. These two markets can help the Czech manufacturer to reach is sales target of 1.5 million units until 2018.
 
But until then, Skoda has to introduce more models to appeal to various customers. One of the newest addition will be a seven seat SUV, ready to be positioned against hyundai Grand Santa Fe.
 
The Koreean SUV will have a tough competition as the Skoda SUV will be based on Volkswagen`s highly acclaimed MQB platform. This will enable the SUV to offer both front and all-wheel drive.
 
The engine range will be the same as the current Yeti, with a 1.4 liter TSI ready for the entry-level version of the car. The off-road capabilities will be a must, the seven seat SUV promising a good experience on bad roads.
