The Spanish automaker is introducing the SEAT Ibiza FR 2.0 TDI CR, the most powerful car in its segment, packing 143 HP (105 kW) thanks to the new 2.0 TDI engine with common railtechnology and DPF particulate filter. The SEAT Ibiza FR 2.0 TDI CR has lowered CO2 emissions by 20% (119 g/Km) when compared to the previous generation FR that was fitted with the 130 HP 1.9 TDI engine and additionally the company is offering a special driving course free of charge to all Ibiza FR, CUPRA and Bocanegra buyers. Performance figures for the SEAT Ibiza FR 2.0 TDI CR indicate that a top speed of 210 Km/h can be reached and sprinting from 0 to 100 Km/h takes 8.2 seconds. As far as fuel consumption the SEAT Ibiza FR 2.0 TDI CR needs only 4.6-litres per 100 Km and the sporty hatch complies with the Euro 5 emission standards. The aim of the course is to give drivers hands on experienceof these three versions' dynamic qualities and provide them withgreater confidence and safety at the wheel. Brilliant performance Fittedwith the new 2.0 TDI CR engine, the new Ibiza FR delivers performancelevels to match its distinctly sporty set-up. Top speed is 210 km/h, 0to 100 km/h acceleration is 8.2 seconds and in-gear acceleration isequally swift. But these figures do not imply greater consumption; onthe contrary, the new Ibiza FR registers an average figure of only 4.6litres for every 100 km, and naturally fully complies with EU-5emissions legislation. Careful work has been done to the newIbiza FR TDI chassis and suspension ratings in order to tap its powerpotential, resulting in effective performance to match the model’ssporty philosophy.
