RS Tuning Renaultsport Megane 250

RS Tuning, an UK based company that specializes in performance upgrades, has developed a Stage 2 tuning package for the Renaultsport Megane 250.

The kit addresses the 2.0-litre turbocharged unit found in the Menaultsport Megane 250 by adding an alloy high flow intercooler and a choice between a sports catalyst or a cat bypass pipe plus a stainless steel performance exhaust.

Naturally the RS Tuning Renaultsport Megane 250 also comes with a revised ECU, and the result is a dyno proven, 70 bhp power boost. This means the French hatch will deliver a total of 320 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 360 lb-ft (488 Nm) of torque ar 3,250 rpm.

Timing data for the RS Tuning Renaultsport Megane 250 is not available right now, but the standard 0 to 60 mph acceleration time of 6.1 seconds should be eclipsed, while the new top speed is estimated to  be over 165 mph.

The Stage 2 performance upgrades featured on the RS Tuning Renaultsport Megane 250 cost 2,199 GBP for the cat baypass version and 2,499 GBP for the model equipped with the MOT legal sports catalyst option.
