Renault Kangoo TomTom Edition

The Freanch automaker has launched the Renault Kangoo TomTom Edition, based on the Kangoo Privilege version today.

Whats special about the Renault Kangoo TomTom Edition is that it features the Carminat TomTom navigation system, the Climate Control Pack, panoramic sunroofs front and rear, roofbars and various styling enhancements. 

Powering options for the Renault Kangoo TomTom Edition include the 1.6 16V 105 Ethanol E85 engine and the dCi 85 and 105 units while on the optional equipment list the manufacturer offers ESP + ASR, the Airbag Pack and City Pack, a baggage retention net, metallic paint, electric rear windows and privacy glass.

The Renault Kangoo TomTom Edition price starts at 19,750 Euro.

Based on Kangoo Privilège, the new TomTom Edition limited edition version incorporates a Carminat TomTom® navigation system featuring IQ RoutesTM technology. Equipment also includes a Climate Control Pack, panoramic sunroofs front and rear, roofbars and styling enhancements that give Kangoo TomTom Edition a distinctly dynamic look. This new limited edition version will go on sale at prices ranging from €19,750 (with the 1.6 16V 105 bioethanol E85* engine) and €21,600 (1.5 dCi 105).

In France, Kangoo is the best-selling vehicle in its class in both the private car and light commercial
sectors. Renault already gave the Kangoo range a visual makeover during the course of 2009 to

enhance the attractiveness of the line-up and respond to latest customer requirements:

· The Expression equipment level underwent an upgrade, with the introduction of body-colour bumpers, foglamps and electrically-adjustable, defrosting exterior door mirrors.
· Privilège versions are clearly differentiated from the rest of the line-up thanks to the fitment of Kangoo be bop front and rear bumpers. The more angular forms of the front bumper, the Sidéral Grey front and rear bumper bibs and body-colour side protective mouldings give Kangoo Privilège a truly dynamic feel.

The TomTom Edition version sees Renault expand its 2010 Kangoo range with a fifth equipment
level in addition to the existing Access, Authentique, Expression and Privilège versions.

Taking as its starting point the Privilège equipment level, Kangoo TomTom Limited Edition adds the
following features:
· Built-in Carminat TomTom® navigation system
The 5.8-inch widescreen colour display is inset into the centre of the dashboard and the control unit
is located on the centre console in front of the armrest. The Carminat TomTom® navigation system
in the Kangoo incorporates the very latest developments such as IQ RoutesTM, which uses realtime
traffic speed measurements to calculate the quickest possible route to your destination. By refreshing the TomTom® routings database with information derived from the actual journeys of millions of road users, the IQ RoutesTM system can calculate the optimum route for that particular day and time. The system also provides a clear indication of which lane to take, while the particularly realistic 3D mode takes care of the most complicated motorway junctions.
· Climate Control Pack: includes automatic climate control, plus automatic windscreen wiper and headlamp activation.
· Panoramic glass sunroofs: twin tilting panels at the front and a single fixed glass sunroof at the rear.
· Innovative chrome roofbars: can be transformed into a roof-rack without the need for tools.
· Exterior styling features: 16-inch Kilimandjaro alloy wheels and black headlamp masks.
· Interior equipment: bespoke Marina upholstery, white instrument facings and leather-trimmed
steering wheel
