Renault will join the list of manufacturers who developed a special car for the Gran Turismo game. The French manufacturer unveiled a concept, called Alpine Vision Gran Turismo, available for download starting this March, for all those who play Gran Turismo 6.

The concept is fruit of the collective imagination of the designers and engineers entrusted with developing the 21st Century Alpine. There are numerous references to the Alpine history. The idea of a barquette stemmed from the Alpine A450’s involvement in the Le Mans 24 Hours. That said, the front end takes its inspiration from the A110, while the vertical fins at the rear recall the A210 and A220.

Even if it is a virtual car, the new Alpine Vision Gran Turismo features a V8 4.5-liter petrol engine with 450 hp at 6,500 rpm and 580 Nm at 2,000 rpm. The weight is only 900 kilograms (1984 pounds) and is capable of topping a speed of 320 km/h (200 mph).
