The Germans have released the first promo video for the new Opel Astra OPC which debuted in Geneva last week.
The footage underlines the vehicle's dynamic abilities and also concentrates on showing the Astra OPC's sporty design elements and features at both the exterior and interior.
The 2012 Opel Astra OPC uses a 2.0-litre direct injection four-cylinder turbocharged engine to produce 280 HP and 400 Nm of peak torque, and its 0 to 60 mph acceleration time and top speed are 5.9 seconds and 155 mph respectively.
This model will rival the Scirocco R and the Renault Megane Sport in the hot-hatch segment, with pricing in this case starting at 26,995 GBP in the UK.
