The Japanese market will have the privilege of receiving the first Nissan Note Nismo model.  Nissan already introduced the Note Nismo in its home market and along with that a more powerful version, called Nismo S.
Customers will have to choose between white, dark and grey for the body finish and will have to be satisfied with some red inserts, meant to increase the aggressive stance. The sporty package is rounded by a set of 16-inch or 17-inch wheels, the last ones used only for the Nismo S. There will also be some LED daytime running lights.
Inside, the clients will be treated with aluminum pedals, sportier gauge cluster, suede upholstery and bespoke shift knob.
Both versions come with a tweaked suspension, new disc brakes on all wheels and a sportier exhaust, but use different engines.
The standard Note Nismo uses a 1.2 liter petrol engine, mated to a CVT. The more powerful Nismo S uses a turbocharged 1.6 liter engine, connected to a five-speed manual. The power is only 138 bhp at 6400 rpm. It is not a value worth the "hot hatch" term, but it has 29 hp more than the stock version.
