Thanks to a press release that was published today we are finally able to know what the Nissan Juke R is capable of in terms of performance.
According to Nissan, the Juke R can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 Km/h) in 3.7 seconds, and can hit a top speed of 160 mph (257 Km/h). Based on these figures the Juke R becomes the world’s fastest crossover, so too bad it will only be produced in two exemplars (one with right hand drive and one with left hand drive).
You are probably familiar with the fact that the Juke R extracts 485 bhp from a 3.8-litre V6 twin turbo engine, the same one found in the Nissan GT-R. The car is also equipped with the GT-R’ suspension and transmission, plus it features a FIA-specification roll cage, various aerodynamic components and 20-inch RAYS forged alloy wheels with massive performance brakes behind them.
In terms of dimensions the Juke R measures 4,125 mm in length, 1,575 mm in height and 2,530 mm wheelbase (which means identical to the standard Juke), while its width has been increased from 1765 mm to 1,910 mm.
