Nissan Extrem Concept - The Baby Beast from Sao Paulo

The concept, combines elements from a sports car with those of a crossover and is the first car from Nissan designed and produced in and for Brazil, in order to underscore the company's commitment to the country where it recorded a significant sales growth in the past years. 

Extrem's design borrows elements from various Nissan models ranging from the GT-R's front grille and fenders with air vents to the 370Z's headlamp and roofline. On the other hand, it has a wraparound windscreen and 19-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting units, a center-mounted exhaust system and a grate color named Solar Cortex.

 

Interior pictures were not released, but the official says the concept has a 2+2 seating arrangement, a dedicated luggage space and a removable cargo bin.

Power comes from Nissan's direct injection and turbocharged (DIG-T) 1.6-liter gasoline engine. Specifications were not released, but it likely produces 188 bhp (140 kW) and 177 lb-ft (240 Nm) of torque. Also it seems that Extrem will be offered with a choice of front or four-wheel drive.
