Mazda’s all-new compact crossover, the CX-5, is going on sale in the UK in Spring. The company’s small SUV will be offered offered with four equipment grades (SE-L, SE-L Nav, Sport and Sport Nav), with 2-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations, manual an automatic transmissions and a choice between two engines.
The engines embody the SKYACTIV technology and include a 2.0-litre petrol rated at 165 PS and a 2.2-litre diesel capable of producing either 150 or 175 PS.
The Mazda CX-5 price for UK starts at 21,395 for the SE-L 2.0-litre petrol version and reaches 28,789 GBP for the range topping variant.
Depending on the model the new CX-5 will return fuel consumption figures between 61.4 to 47 mpg (UK rating) and will achieve CO2 emissions between 119 to 144 grams per Km.
The range opening variant, the SE-L comes equipped as standard with 17-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights, dual-zone climate control air conditioning, Smart City Brake Support, privacy glass as well as front and rear parking sensors.
As we move up in the range and get to the Sport trim the list of features will also include 19 inch wheels, Bi-Xenon headlights with Active Front Lighting System, full leather trim, heated front seats, powered driver’s seat and a reversing camera.
