Car wraps or large-scale car graphics are popular, very visible, and can be exciting as a form of advertising for a business. A major benefit of the wrap is that it is completely customizable and can stick to your vehicle perfect as if it were painted on. Companies and small business who deliver or provide an at-home service typically use car wraps and generate a lot of attention because of it. Still, even with all the positives, the major problems of car wraps can be tough to overcome. The installation process is highly difficult and one wrong move can cause a complete failure. With that in mind, wraps are very expensive; one installation mistake can cut a piece from a budget quickly. Most small businesses or car owners interested in graphics do not have the funds forcing them to find alternatives. Some of those alternatives are described below:
Car Window Decals
Most car window decals are printed on perforated material known as one-way vision. The full-color print can be visible to the outside but see-through from the inside. The decals can be set to a custom size providing a similar look to car wraps but at a fraction of the cost.
Car Lettering
Lettering can be placed on the body of the car or on the window only. If designed correctly the lettering will fit on the body of the car like a wrap would. The lettering must be strictly one color.
Car Decals
Car decals are specifically designed for the body of the car. If large enough it can look like a car wrap or a half-wrap. By playing with the color of the car and the decal design the cost will be low for a creative advertisement or design.
Car Magnets
Car magnets are primarily used by small businesses for marketing because the product is affordable and can be easily removed. A unique, exciting design can be eye-catching to those on the road next to the car.
Car Stickers
Car stickers can be full-color and cut to custom shapes. Small stickers can add a stock car feel to the car or just add decorations the owner wants. Clear window stickers can add to the windows as well without covering the entire window so that the driver can still see.

- Peggy Deaver : 1 January 2013 05:49:10I agree that car decals are difficult to install. A full-body decal for a car may be installed for 3-4 days. It is quite expensive too that is why most people are finding alternatives. Thanks a lot for sharing this. These are great alternatives for the full decals which can still catch people's attention as long as it is done neatly.
