The British car manufacturer Lotus has announced that the Exige S Roadster will enter production this summer. As you already know, the Exige S Roadster was unveiled last year at the Geneva Motor Show.

The open-top version of the Exige S comes with a V6 3.5 liter supercharged unit that can output 345 horsepower and 400 Nm peek of torque. The power is put to the ground via a six speed manual gearbox or a Serial Precision Shift transmission.

With a manual gearbox, the Exige S Roadster can sprint from stand still to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 233 km/h. According to Lotus, the fuel consumption is 10.1 liters per 100 kilometers.
