Powered by a 2179 cc 4-cylinder diesel engine, the Land Rover Freelander 2 develops 148 bhp @ 4000 rpm and 309 lb-ft of torque @ 1750 rpm, which in terms of performance translate into 11.7 seconds when accelerating from 0 to 62 mph, and a top speed of 112 mph.
The Land Rover Freelander 2 comes with a six-speed manual transmission, and when it comes to consumption, the British SUV which weights 1785 Kg, requires 47.1 mpg (combined UK rating), with CO2 emissions of 158 grams per Km.
