Assigned by Andy Palmer to head the Infiniti brand in its offensive against the German brands, Johan de Nysschen is now ready to change sides.
 
The Infiniti CEO announced that it has resigned to join the General Motors group in the close future. De Nysschen will be named as CEO for Cadillac and is going to lead the American brand offensive against BMW, Mercedes and Audi.
 
Johan de Nysschen will be responsable of leading the marketing, sales and product development for Cadillac range globally.
 
De Nysschen, who will begin his work on August 1st, declared: "I have for some time now been impressed by how the new General Motors has been transformed into a formidable force in the industry. The combination of strong corporate leadership and exceptional engineering resources presents the perfect combination to restore Cadillac to its place among global premium brands."
