The Korean automaker is getting ready to introduce the new Hyundai Veloster at the Detroit Motor Show in January, but until then they tease us with this first video that shows their upcoming sports coupe hiding in the dark.
The new Hyundai Veloster will enter the scene as a competitor for the VW Scirocco, with a direct injection engine under its bonnet mated to a dual clutch transmission, able to average an estimated 40 mpg.
According to previous detailed that surfaced in the British press, the Hyundai Veloster will use a 138 bhp 1.6-litre engine as standard, while the range topping model will be fitted with a turbocharged plant packing 205 bhp.
As far as exterior details, the Hyundai Veloster teaser video only reveals the LEDs at the front, so stay tuned for more details and photos at the time of the show.
