We’ve seen the upcoming Hyundai Veloster caught on tape a while back, now we’ve got new info regarding the automaker’s first ‘utility coupe’ which is expected to debut at the Detroit Motor Show next year.
Initially introduced as a concept at the Seoul Motor Show in 2007, the production version Hyundai Veloster will feature a 2+1 door layout, which means the aspect of a normal 3-door hatch, with two elongated doors at the front and also two two smaller doors for passenger at the back.
Developed on a modified version pf the Ceed, the entry level Hyundai Veloster will be offered with a 1.6-litre direct-injection petrol plant producing 138 bhp, while the more powerful versions will get the automaker’s turbocharged unit developing 205 bhp.
The Hyundai Veloster will also be offered with the new 6-speed twin clutch transmission which promises improved efficiency and quicker gear ratios.
The Hyundai Veloster price will hover around the 19,000 GBP mark.
