The first teaser image with the Geneva Motor Show bound Hyundai i-oniq concept has hit the web.
Designed by the automaker’s Research and Development centre in Russelsheim, Germany, the i-oniq concept represents an evolution in the brand’s ‘fluidic sculputre’ language, and as with most design studies, it will give us a hint at how upcoming production models will be shaped.
Thomas Burkle, Hyundai’s European Chief Designer described this concept as "Two strong arched curves define the silhouette of i-oniq, creating a
playful contrast between the sharp character lines and soft but muscular
features."
The latest vehicle shaped in accordance with the ‘fluidic sculpture’ principles was the i40, so we’re curious to see how much excitement can this new concept pack. We’ll find out in March 2012.
