Mugen’s Japanese division has unveiled the Honda CRZ MUGEN RR, a design concept produced for show purposes which brags about the company’s capabilities in terms of "function, style, performance and agility".
At the exterior the Honda CRZ MUGEN RR features a number of bespoke prototype parts made from carbon fiber which include the bonnet, passenger doors and rear tailgate, plus a full length carbon-fiber under-body, two centrally positioned exhaust pipes, vented front bumpers and a race derived suspension.
The Honda CRZ MUGEN RR also features orange coloured, 4-piston monobloc brake calipers and a set of black painted, 18 inch multi-spoke design alloys which create a nice contrast with the rest of the vehicle’s body.
The interior welcomes its passengers with clad seats which are Mugen branded, colour-coded and covered in a combination of leather and Alcantara, plus a race-developed info screen on which the driver can record chassis and engine data. This screen also houses the satellite navigation and audio system.
