The highlights of Honda’s stand at this year’s Beijing Auto Show are the Concept C and the Concept S.
The Concept C is an aggressive looking mid-size sedan that hints at an upcoming production model for the Chinese market, with Honda explaining that the letter C was chosen because it stands for ‘Cool’, ‘Challenge’ and ‘China’.
Its design is inspired by the image of a dragon, and production is expected to start in 2013.
The Honda Concept S on the other hand is a minivan that will initially go on sale in China but will also be released globally after that.
The letter S in this case stands for ‘Stylish’, ‘Smart’ and ‘Surprise’.
Honda says the Concept S uses a hybrid powertrain and that its spacious cabin was created by the automaker’s packaging technologies.
