Hennessey Performance Engineering, the same facility that brought you the insane Venom GT, is working on a tuned 2014 Corvette Stingray offering two very powerful engine performance upgrades.

The first kit will use a supercharger that will enable the car to develop up to 700 bhp, while the second one will use twin-turbos for an output somewhere in the range of 800-1000 bhp. It is possible that both models will rely on the 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine that normally develops 450 bhp and 450 lb-ft of torque.

Besides the supercharged and twin turbo systems Hennessey plans to offer a variety of accessories including cold air induction systems, cat-back exhaust systems, stainless steel long-tube headers, Brembo brake systems, wheel and tire upgrades, suspension systems, and much more.

The new Corvette Stingray goes on sale in the third quarter of this year, which means that the Hennessey packages will come several months after that.
