If it starts raining and you are in a GMC model you might have some problms. That is what GMC realised after some clients complained abou their wippers becoming inoperative. GMC aknowledged the problem and decided to make a recall.

The recall is affecting certain model year 2013 Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain vehicles. In the affected vehicles, the ball joints in the windshield wiper module may corrode and wear over time, possibly resulting in one or both of the windshield wipers becoming inoperative.

And is not rocket science that inoperative windshield wipers may reduce the driver’s visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

And what is more hilarious, GMC said the remedy for this recall campaign is still under development. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. So you better stay at home when its raining.
