Geocache Challenge: Kia Rio Scavenger Hunt

The folks over at Kia have created a geocache challenge in which two pairs of friends go on a scavenger hunt across L.A. in order to find clues that will eventually lead them to one Hollywood celebrity which they later on get to meet.

The clues are hidden throughout landmarks of L.A. while the Hollywood celebrity is Christina Milan. Each team gets to drive around in a Kia Rio to look for the above mentioned clues, and to get to the point, here are the five locations the contestants visited :

• The Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round – a historic landmark in L.A running since 1937. The place where Walt Disney brought his kids before Disneyland got built.

• Amoeba Records – one of the most popular historic music stores in Los Angeles.
• Rodeo Drive – One of the most expensive and swanky shopping destinations in Beverly Hills.
• Pink’s Hot Dogs – a place where they sell hot dogs named after Hollywood celebrities.
• The Roosevelt Hotel – home to both history and the best parties in L.A.

In a crowded city like L.A. the five-door version 2012 Kia Rio was the perfect 'weapon of choice', not only due to its compact size but also because of its awesome features that make cross town navigation easy. Some of those features include the latest Bluetooth system, an innovative USB input jack, sat-nav, rear view parking camera, etc., some of which you wouldn't even expect to find in a car from this segment.

As for the scavenger hunt, I think finding the clue inside Amoeba Records was the hardest task of all, but nevertheless it all looked like tons of fun.
