Ford has announced that the Fiesta ST is now available with a five-door body style. For now, this version of the Fiesta ST is available only in Europe. As you can imagine, the two doors five the Blue Oval model a few more practicality points. It is easier to access the back seats and this will make it a great candidate for the family with small children.

Under the hood of the Ford Fiesta ST five-door is the same turbocharged 1.6 liter engine that can deliver 182 horsepower and 240 Nm peak of torque. As a result, the model can run from stand still to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds. According to Ford, the fuel consumption is clocked at 6,1 liters per 100 kilometers while the CO2 emissions are rated at 141 g/km. 

“Ford has now sold more than 38,000 Fiesta STs in Europe since we introduced the acclaimed hot hatchback in 2013, and growing numbers of customers have been asking us for a five-door version. The Fiesta ST with five doors makes an affordable Ford Performance driving experience accessible to an even greater number of customers”, said Roelant de Waard, vice president, Marketing, Sales & Service, Ford of Europe.

In the UK the price of the new Ford Fiesta ST five-door will start from 19,495 GBP. Ford estimates that about 25% of Fiesta ST sales in Europe will be for the five-door body style.
