After we saw the Fiat Aegea, during last year Istanbul Motor Show, we now meet the all new Fiat Tipo. Which is practically the same car. The Italian manufacturer announced today it will sell its new compact sedan under the Tipo name in all Europe. The Aegea name will be used only in Turkey, where the project name turned out to be so successful that it was decided to keep it for the car as well.

On the other hand, the Tipo symbolic name has been used by Fiat since its earliest days and is now making a comeback on a global model.

The Fiat Tipo is an all-new, four-door car created from the beginning as a three-box sedan. It is equipped with reliable, high performing and economical power units: two Multijet II turbo diesel engines and two petrol ones, with manual or automatic transmission and power ratings from 95 to 120 HP.

The Fiat Tipo is designed in Italy by the FCA Style Centre, developed in Turkey with Tofas R&D, made in the Tofas plant in Bursa – one of the world’s best automotive factories which has received a World Class Manufacturing Gold Medal – and sold in over 40 countries in the EMEA area.
