Ferrari World Theme Park Abu Dhabi

As you probably know the Italian supercar maker has entered the entertainment business by building the Ferrari World Theme Park in Abu Dhabi.

Even though work is not finalized yet, the Prancing Horse has released an overview of the Ferrari World Theme Park in Abu Dhab that will include over 20 attractions, among which the world's fastest rollercoaster. This rollercoaster features Ferrari F430 shaped wagons that will travel at speeds over 200 Km/h emulating the sensation felt inside a Formula 1 car.

Another attractions at the Ferrari World Theme Park Abu Dhabi include a flume ride journey inside a Ferrari 599 engine and an air voyage over Italy simulating a Ferrari chase.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, set to open in 2010, is the world’s first Ferrari theme parkand largest attraction of its kind. The Park is located on Yas Island – set to become aglobal tourist destination with a wide range of accommodation andentertainment facilities – on the North East side of Abu Dhabi’smainland. Abu Dhabi, at the crossroads between Europe, Asia and Africa,was chosen as the ideal location to build the Ferrari theme park, motorsports being extremely popular in the United Arab Emirates. FerrariWorld Abu Dhabi will offer a unique and intensely fun way, togetherwith a wide variety of Italian delicaciesand of course unique shoppingexperiences.

The Park is owned by Aldar Properties PJSC, Abu Dhabi’s leading property development, management and investment company. Farah Leisure Parks Management L.L.C,a joint venture between Aldar Properties PJSC and ProFun ManagementGroup Inc. (international leisure facilities management and operatingcompany) will be responsible for managing and operating Ferrari WorldAbu Dhabi. • Made from metal and glass designed to reduce glare and heat
• Total surface area is 200,000 m² (2,152,782 sq ft)
• The Ferrari logo is 65m x 48.5m, the largest Ferrari logo ever created
• Highest point is 48m, with a total of 6,900 metres of roof guttering

• Designed by one of the world’s most prominent design firms Jack Rouse Associates
• Over 20 state-of-the-art rides and attractions
