Ferrari F2012 Formula 1 Car

Ferrari has published images with their new F2012 Formula 1 car this morning, the fifty eighth car built by the Prancing Horse with the purpose of competing in the F1 World Championship.

Ferrari claims that the main changes applied to the F2012 single seater when compared to last year's challenger concern the height of the front section of the chassis, or simply put the nose sits higher now, while the exhaust pipes have been repositioned and the electronic engine management system has been remapped.

Even though Ferrari accepts that the nose of the car is not aesthetically pleasing, they say they had to lower the front part in order to comply with the F1 regulations.

The suspension has also been revised as the car now uses pull-rods both front and rear in order to improve aerodynamics while the front wing is derived from last year's car.
