Chrysler is among the numerous automakers trying to draw attention to their products through ads especially created to air during the 2011 Super Bowl.

Their approach was to advertise the new Chrysler 200 through an exceptionally long (2 minutes) commercial which talks about Detroit, and which also features Eminem.

The 2011 Chrysler 200 Super Bowl Ad will definitely stick in peoples minds as it is the longest sport broadcast during the game, for which the North American manufacturer probably paid somewhere around 8 to 12 million dollars, figures which do not include royalties paid to rapper Eminem. Will it convince viewers to buy the new Chrysler 200 ? Well that’s another story.
