Kia and DC Entertainment teamed-up to create a one-off version of the 2013 Optima inspired by Batman comics. In this way the Korean carmaker is supporting DC Entertainment's "We can be Heroes" campaign.
In the next 10 months we will see eight customized Kia models, each car representing a character form Justice League comics.
Kia Optima "Batmobile" is wearing a matte and piano-black paint scheme with yellow accents and receives a new suspension, a new braking kit, a special exhaust and new 20 inch wheels. On the inside we find special seats covered in black leather with yellow stitching.
"Batman is one of the most popular Super Heroes of all-time, and showcasing in a fun and creative way Kia's top-of-the-line Optima SX Limited as a Batman-themed custom ride underscores this car's potent combination of premium features and turbocharged performance," said Michael Sprague, executive vice president, marketing and communications at Kia Motors America.
