A new model unveiled ahead of the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show is the Citroen DS5, a car which is based on the C-SportLounge concept and which combines style with ‘rewarding driving dynamics’, refinement and innovative engineering.
With propulsion provided by the automaker’s HYbrid4 diesel technology, the new Citroen DS5  which by the way is a five-door hatch, delivers 200 bhp, and has a best in class emission level of 99 grammes per Km. The car has four-wheel drive capability and can travel on just electric power for short distances.
The new Citroen DS5 is sleek and compact, measures 4.53 m in length, 1,85 m in width and comes with a roomy luggage compartment of up to 465 Litres. The interior can accommodate five passengers and besides featuring a roof console, it also offers the same high-end feel as the other models in the DS range.
If we talk about the exterior, the Citroen DS6 achieves its dynamic looks through a sleek/muscular profile, offered by the large chrome-finished grille, the over-sized air intakes, the chrome-finished ‘sabre’ inserts which stretch from each headlamp to the windscreen and the cool looking alloys which range from 16 to 19 inch in size.
