Caparo has published today the first teaser picture of the upcoming T1 Evolution model. According to Caparo officials, the car is currently in development and already available on order.

As its name suggest, the new Caparo model is an evolution of the T1 model. Under the hood of the old model is a V8 3.5 liter engine rated at 575 horsepower at 10,500 rpm and 420 Nm peak of torque at 9.000 rpm.

As a result, the T1 was able to sprint from stand still to 96 km/h in 2.5 seconds, while the top speed was clocked at 330 km/h when the adjustable suspension was lowered to maximum to improve the aerodynamics and to increase the down force.

According to rumors, the new T1 Evolution will deliver at least 700 horsepower and will get a stiffer suspension, ABS, ESP and a traction control system. For now we don’t know it the upcoming T1 Evolution will be a road-legal car like its predecessor.

Caparo says the vehicle will be offered with parts finished in silver, gold and platinum and there will also be Virtual Engineer packages but details have not been released.
