Bugatti has revealed today the fifth special edition Veyron part of its "Legends" series. As you know, the special version is based on the Grand Sport Vitesse and its named Black Bess. The car is paying tribute to the Type 18 Black Bess which Bugatti describes as being one of the first ever street legal supercars.

The Bugatti Type 18 Black Bess was hiding under the bonnet an inline-four 5.0 liter engine rated at 100 horsepower. This amount of power was enough for a 100 mph top speed. The car was also driven in several races by Ettore Bugatti who managed to take the win in the 1912 Mont Ventoux hill climb.

Just like the others Bugatti "Legends" edition, the Black Bess will be limited to three units, all coming with a carbon fiber body painted in black with gold accents. In addition, we see light beige upholstery and Crimson leather.

The dash panel, dashboard, cowl panel and door trim panel were covered in Havanna leather and the door panels feature the Type 18 "Black Bess" and the Morane Saulnier Type H, an airplane which belonged to Roland Garros who was one of the seven people who bought the Black Bess.

The 2014 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Black Bess will be showcased later this month at the Beijing Motor Show.
