Brabus is one of the most important German tuners, so it can not miss this year Frankfurt Motor Show edition. Specialised in tuning Mercedes models, the latest product from Brabus is based on the G63 AMG and is called Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo Widestar.

The SUV is powered by a Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo V8 increased-displacement engine rated at 850 HP (838 bhp) and producing a peak torque of 1,450 Nm (1,069 lb-ft). Despite weighing in at 2,550 kilograms, the all-wheel-drive car sprints from rest to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.0 seconds. The top speed is limited electronically to 260 km/h (162 mph).

The Brabus Vmax unit, which is part of the engine tuning, limits the top speed electronically to 260 km/h (162 mph) to protect the tires. This high-performance engine, which like the entire powertrain, is backed by the one-of-a-kind BRABUS Tuning Warranty of three years, up to 100,000 kilometers/62,000 miles.

On the outside, the SUV becomes more aggresive thanks to a Widestar widebody and its 23-inch PLatinum Edition forged wheels. The strikingly styled fender flares add 12 centimeters to the width of the body and thereby offer space for huge 23-inch wheels.

Technology partners Continental, Pirelli or Yokohama supply high-performance tires of size 305/35 R 23. The front spoiler attaches to the production bumper and together with the new LED lights characterizes the face of the off-roader. The Brabus logotypes integrated on both sides also light up together with the entrance lights.

The SUV is equipped with the innovative Ride Control suspension. This high-tech suspension system is available for all G-Class models. It was developed in cooperation with technology partner Bilstein and features power adjustable shock absorbers with two selectable settings.
