BMW is introducing two special edition models based on the 1 Series and 3 Series which celebrate BMW’s sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
They are called the 1 Series and 3 Series Performance Edition and are inspired by BMW’s London 2012 Performance Team.
The 1 Series Performance Edition comes with an M aerodynamic bodykit, dark chrome 18 inch M alloys, high-gloss exterior trim, a dark chrome exhaust pipe and darker rear lights. The car also gets an M Sport Suspension, sports seats featuring Royal Blue stitching, an M Sport leather wrapped steering wheel, and new floor mats.
The BMW 1 Series Performance Edition applies to the 116, 116d and 118d 3-door and 5-door models, with pricing starting at 19,530 GBP for the 116i 3-door version. This means that customers will save around 1,725 GBP.
The BMW 3 Series Performance Edition gets the same exact features as the 1 Series, and in this case pricing starts at 23,195 GBP for the BMW 318i Performance Edition Saloon.
