Soon after the model was launched, fans of the new BMW M2 find out that the new performance coupe will also be seen in Need for Speed video game. Starting November 3, when the new NFS will come out on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the new BMW M2 will be able to race on virtual streets of NFS. BMW says the M2 Coupe will be more than just a car to take racing in free race modes as the model will also play an important role in the game’s plot.

For those of you who missed the launch of the new car, we remind you that Under the hood of the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe is a 3.0 liter six cylinder engine rated at 370 horsepower and 465 Nm peak of torque (500 Nm with overboost). In standard, the German model is available with a six speed manual transmission, but on the option list you will find the M DCT, double clutch gearbox.

When equipped with the dual clutch transmission, the car can run from stand still to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. The top speed is limited to 250 km/h or 270 km/h with M Drivers Pack. More than that, the car has an Active M Differential, M suspensions and the M Dynamic Mode.

Inside the cabin, the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe features Dakota leather sport seats, some M logos, a sport steering wheel, aluminum pedals and that special M gear leaver.
