BMW Individual will be introducing a special ActiveHybrid 7 Individual Edition on the Japanese market. According to BMW, the car will be exclusively sold in Japan and will be customized according to local preferences.
The exterior is dressed in two exclusive paints, Mineral White or Citrine Black, and is combined with 20-inch double spoke alloy wheels and lettering engraved on the trunk lid.
The interior comes with more attention to details. It features BMW Individual high quality full leather Merino, Alcantara roof lining, dark color ceramic finish for the selector lever and iDrive controller.
The BMW ActiveHybrid 7 Individual uses a 3.0-liter bi-turbo engine and an electric motor that raises the total power output to 354 hp and 500 Nm. This will be enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in just 5.7 seconds. The average fuel consumption announced by manufacturer is 6.8 liters/100 km (34 mpg).
The luxury saloon can travel on electricity alone for just 4 kilometers (2.5 miles). The production version of the BMW Individual ActiveHybrid 7 will be limited to just 20 units, delivered in December for a price of 95.000 Euros.
