BMW has officially revealed a series of updates for the 2-Series Coupe model. The most important is the introduction of the 1.5 liter three cylinder engine in the unit lineup. Named 218i, the car offers 136 horsepower and 220 Nm peak of torque.

The German model is able to run from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 8.8 seconds with the manual or 8.9 seconds with the eight-speed automatic transmission. The top speed announced by the manufacturer is clocked at 212 km/h (131 mph). In terms of fuel consumption, the 218i can achieve 5.1 to 5.6 liters per 100 km (42 to 46 mpg).

Beside the introduction of the new engine, the 220d Coupe will be available with the xDrive AWD system. As you may have read, until now, the four-wheel drive system was offered only for the 235i version. 
 
BMW 2-Series Trim Levels 

Last, but not least modification is the introducing of four new trim levels. We are talking about the Advantage trim level, Sport Line, Luxury Line and M Sport version. Each one has distinctive accessories, with the M Sport featuring a 10 mm lower suspension, new 17-inch wheels and the M aerodynamics package.
