The Bavarian automaker has released this teaser video presenting the BMW 1 Series M Coupe with the front and rear sections still wrapped in camouflage. The car’s official name came from Kay Segler, the CEO of BMW’s Motorsport division says the BMW 1 Series M Coupe was born out of people’s dreams of having a BMW M.
We imagine the BMW M1 name will be reserved for a more powerful version of the BMW 1 Series M Coupe, although nothing was officially specified regarding this matter.
The BMW 1 Series M Coupe is expected to be launched in the summer of 2011 so more details are probably on their way.
