The officials from Audi came out today with a press release announcing that the new RS5 Convertible will be unveiled this Thursday, on 6th September via live streaming. The new performance model from Ingolstadt will meet the public at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
Just like the coupe version, the RS5 Cabrio is powered by a 4.2 liter V8 unit that generates 450 HP and 430 Nm available between 4.000 and 6.000 rpm.
The engine power is delivered to the wheels thanks to Audi's seven speed S-tronic dual-clutch transmission mated with a launch control program and quattro all-wheel drive system.
"For over 15 years, Audi RS models have represented the dynamic vanguard of the Audi model lineup. RS fascination lives on in the new Audi RS 5 Cabriolet – the perfect combination of power and elegance", said an Audi official.
