Audi unveiled the new TT Sportback concept in Paris, hinting at a future compact coupe sedan, capable of rivaling the popular Mercedes CLA.
The concept has newly styled headlamps with the partitions that show a unique daytime running light signature, honeycomb grille, short overhangs and striking air inlets.
The interior is introduced through frameless doors. In the rear are two people, also on individual seats with integral head restraints, between them are functional storage compartments and a comfortable armrest.
The classic air-control unit and the MMI monitor made it possible to draw the instrument panel in a slim, lightweight architecture that fully focuses on the driver.
Under the hood, we have a 2.0 TFSI engine that delivers 400 hp and 450 Nm even at 1900 rpm. Even so, the engine consumption is just 7 liters/100 km (33 mpg) and the emissions reach 162 g/km.
The turbocharged direct injection engine accelerates the Audi TT Sportback concept in 3.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph).
