Audi had decided to add a new engine option to their Q7 3.0 TDI quattro range. This new 3.0-litre V6 TDI which produces 204 PS complements the existing 3.0 TDI quattro 245 PS versions, and can be ordered in conjunction with the Standard, SE, S Line and S Line Plus trim levels.
Apart from developing 204 PS between 3,200 to 4,400 rpm and 450 Nm of torque between 1,250 and 2,750 rpm, this new engine will also enable Audi’s 7-seat luxury SUV to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 9.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 127 mph.
Consumption figures in a combined cycle for this version are 39.2 mpg while CO2 emissions are 189 g/Km.
The S Line Plus specification level for this version includes metallic paint, 21 inch alloys, the Verano leather interior treatment, an HDD based sat-nav with Google Earth maps, in-car Wi-Fi, iPod connectivity, and electrical tailgate and Audi’s Parking System Advanced.
Pricing for the 204 PS version Audi Q7 3.0 TDI S Line Plus which comes with an 8-speed tiptronic gearbox starts at 49,120 GBP. The standard version however is priced at 39,995 GBP in the UK, while the SE and S Line variants cost from 42,960 GBP and 44,620 GBP respectively.
