According to new rumors Audi is working on an ‘Allroad’ version A1 which will be named the Audi Q1. The Audi Q1 will feature a five-door body with front-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive/quattro drive trains, and it these rumors will become reality then this baby SUV will complete the automaker’s range next to the larger Q5 and Q7 models.
Production for the Audi Q1 is expected to start in 2013 and on the 4WD model the German automaker will collaborate with Suzuki, who can share some of their knowledge in the small SUV segment.
Powerplant expected to de offered on the 2013 Audi Q1 include the company’s 160 HP 1.4-litre TSI and the 140 HP 1.4-litre TDI.
The Audi Q1 price is likely to be over 22,000 Euro and reach around 27,000 Euro for the 4WD models.
