Audi has managed to sell 6 million cars with quattro all-wheel drive system. As you may have read, the quattro system was unveiled for the first time in 1980 and since then there have been approximately 170 different vehicles (including body styles, engine and transmission versions) equipped with this great all-wheel drive system.

The anniversary model is a mansoon gray metallic SQ5 3.0 TDI quattro which was bought by an unnamed customer in the United States.

"Dynamism and sportiness, the utmost technical precision and safety – that’s what Audi’s quattro technology stands for. More than 30 years ago, it was recognized as a pioneering accomplishment; today, it is synonymous with technical progress", said Dr. Hubert Waltl, Audi’s Board Member for Production.
