Dr. Ulrich Bez, Aston Martin CEO, has talked to our colleagues from Driver. The British official told that he strongly believes that Lagonda brand will soon be brought to life.

According to the same interview, he wasn’t able to provide a timetable as to when this will happen, but he sees Lagonda as a good brand. He added that the Lagonda could release any type of car outside Aston Martin’s current family.

He thinks that an SUV has the highest chances of being launched.

In case you forget, Aston Martin revived the Lagonda in 2009 as a concept vehicle along with an SUV based on the Mercedes-Benz ML. Under the hood of the SUV it was a 6.0 liter V12 engine.
