The first official photos with the Aston Martin Cygnet Concept have been released today by the British manufacturer. Even though the company still calls it a concept, we are pretty sure that this is actually how the production version Aston Martin Cygnet will look like, with no major styling modifications inside and out to be made.
The Aston Martin Cygnet is the first vehicle of its kind to offer both fuel efficiency and luxury in such a small package, and even though work is not completed yet, the automaker hopes that by 2010 will launch the production version on UK’s market.
After initially going on sale in UK the Aston Martin Cygnet is expected to gradually hit dealerships across Europe.
Aston Martin press release :
Aston Martin today releases the first official images of the ‘Cygnet’ – a new luxury commuter concept car.
The Cygnet concept represents a creative, environmentally conscious solution, being small, yet with presence – and highly fuel efficient, now combined with the prestige of Aston Martin’s luxury brand ownership.
Work on the concept is ongoing and will continue into 2010 when it is hoped that it will become a production reality initially available to Aston Martin customers in the UK and Europe.
