Aston Martin will expand its offer with some luxury yachts., inspired by the concept AM37. The prototype will be built with the help of Quintessence Yachts as part of a new partnership signed by the two companies.
The Dutch boatbuilder already unveiled a computer-generated rendering, anticipating a series of exclusive pre-launch events that will start with a media and customer prospect activity at Aston Martin’s global headquarters in Gaydon, Warwickshire, prior to the boat’s official debut later this year.
Key features of the Quintessence Yachts "7 series" 37-foot powerboat – available in two distinguished versions – include a hi-tech composite structure. Advanced technologies such as interactive voice control and activation, a fully HD-integrated touch screen with navigation and multimedia system, and remote controlled functions.
Quintessence Yachts gave Mulder Design a naval architect brief based upon the Dutch company’s ability to provide the framework of the design to Aston Martin and then ensure that style changes made in the UK complemented the hull’s performance. The design process has involved a constant exchange of ideas for each single item from the dashboard to the deck and the interiors, with the full commitment of the Aston Martin team providing inputs and feedback on components and features.
A dedicated Quintessence Yachts facility is building the boats in the United Kingdom in order to enhance the British DNA of the Aston Martin speedboats.
