Everybody knew that Alfa Romeo will unveil in Geneva the new 4C, but the Italian car maker made us a surprise because the compact sports coupe was launched in the exclusive "Launch Edition".
This special version will be built in only 1.00 units: 400 of them will go on sale in Europe, Africa and Middle East, 500 are earmarked for North American and 100 for the rest of the world. The new Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition will be priced at 60.000 Euros including VAT.
The "Launch Edition" has a carbon aero kit, a Bi-LED headlight and a dark-finished rear aluminum diffuser. The new Alfa Romeo 4c measures 399 cm long, 200 cm wide and 118 high and is riding on a 238 cm wheelbase.
The power comes from a 1.75-liter turbocharged aluminum engine that puts out 236HP (240PS) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque at just 1,700 rpm. The engine resources are put to the ground thanks to a limited-slip differential ant via a six-speed dual clutch transmission.
The sprint from stand still to 100 km/h is made in 4.5 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 250 km/h.
