This special model will be marked by the inauguration of Ferrari's first ever permanent brand exhibition outside of Maranello at the Italia Center of Shanghai World Expo Park, a place which will cover 900 square meters that will last for three years where Ferrari will feature some of the best collections from the Maranello Museum.
The 20th Anniversary Special Edition Ferrari 458 Italia will be limited ro 20 exemplars, all of which will be dedicated to the Chinese market only. The vehicles will be characterised by a special livery featuring unique Chinese elements, with the inspiration behind the livery coming from an old Chinese idiom "the vigor and spirit of the legendary dragon-horse".
In the Chinese culture, the dragon is a symbol for courage, passion and success, while Ferrari's prancing horse one of the most recognised symbols in the world.
The special 458 Italia will also come with unique gold finish rims, and an interior enhanced with gold embroidery o the headrests, a simplified Chinese character for 'start' on the engine start button, and a '20th Anniversary Special Edition' plaque set into the dash.
