Nissan is very optimistic on the new generation Titan pick-up truck, a model that will have to compete with strong names from Ford and Chevrolet. Titan will be available with two diesel engines and also with a gasoline unit, scheduled to be first offered in 2016.

The all-new 2016 Nissan Titan XD uses a Cummins 5.0L V8 Turbo Diesel rated at 310 horsepower and a hefty 555 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a heavy-duty 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission.

Next to this we will also find in the future the new Titan XD Crew Cab, with its powerful Cummins 5.0L Turbo Diesel V8. It is the first of three cab configurations, two frame sizes, three powertrain offerings and five grade levels to be available later in the Nissan Titan lineup.

Offered in S, SV, PRO-4X, SL and Platinum Reserve models, the new Titan is going to reach its first clients during late 2015.
