Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet. The new model was showcased during the 2016 Geneva Motor Show and will go on sale in the United States this summer. 

2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet will start a battle with Audi A4 and BMW 4 Series and it is based on the impressive C-Class Coupe. The car comes with the same styling features, the most important modification been seen at the roof. 

The power retractable soft top is available in four different colors and can be opened or closed in less than 20 seconds at speeds up to 31 miles per hour.

Inside the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet are the same features seen on the coupe version. An interesting but yet a normal fact is the Cabriolet Comfort package. It adds the Airscarf and Aircap systems in order to deliver a full cabriole experience. 

In the United States, the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet will be available with two different engines. The entry level will be the C300 Cabriolet and will feature the 2.0 liter four cylinder engine rated at 241 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. The unit will be matted to a nine speed automatic transmission and it can be paired to an optional 4Matic all-wheel drive system.

As a result, the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet in C300 version will run from stand still to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds. 

The second engine available for the US will be the V6 3.0 liter rated at 362 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. This will come under the AMG C43 Cabriolet badge and will be able to run from not to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
