Opel is ready to unveil the new generation Corsa during this summer. The car will make its public debut later, in autumn, during Paris Motor Show.
 
Until then we can see new teaser photos and read some new info about the small car, set to compete against the current VW Polo facelift.
 
According to Opel the new generation Corsa is on its final testing phase and will be ready for unveiling soon. The small car platform will support the new 1.0 liter gasoline engine. The three cylinder unit will be turbocharged offering a low range torque, and will be able to develop 115 hp.
 
It will be offered in the company of a six speed manual transmission, newly developed by german engineers.
 
In the press release, Opel announces also a new developed chassis and an improved steering system, enough to make an important change compared to the current generation.
